The Lossnay core is a crossflow plate-fin total heat exchanger composed of partition plates and spacer plates made of special processed paper. As the air-supply and -exhausting passages are completely separated by partition plates, fresh air is constantly introduced with no mixing of fresh and stale air.
From the warmer to the cooler side, heat is conducted and passes through the partition plates.
Due to the difference in the water-vapor partial pressure, water vapor is transferred from the high-humidity side to the low-humidity side through the partition plates.
The air conditioner needs not be so powerful which help saving energy.
The structure of the Lossnay core transmits little air vibration and absorbs sound. Lossnay is approved as noise control equipment for houses in noisy areas near airports, and is also used in areas near railroads and highways.
